Receipts: Budget & Spending

Support

Receipts is a small app made by one person. If something doesn't work, or you have an idea, write to me at angelettisimonedeveloper@gmail.com. I read every message.

My data isn't showing up on my other devices

Check that every device is signed in with the same Apple Account and that iCloud is turned on for Receipts in Settings › [your name] › iCloud. The first sync can take a few minutes, and it needs an internet connection.

The total read from the receipt is wrong

The app only suggests the total, it never enters it on its own. Tap the … button next to the suggestion to pick another amount it found on the receipt, or type the right one.

I deleted something by mistake

Shake your iPhone or iPad, or press ⌘Z on the Mac, and choose Undo. You can also tap Undo in the message that appears right after you delete.

How do I share a budget with someone?

Open the … menu, then Settings › Shared Budgets › Create a Shared Budget. Then tap “Invite People” and send the invitation with Messages or Mail. Only the people you invite by name can join, with their Apple Account. You choose which budget to see at the top of Summary; your personal expenses stay yours alone.

The person I invited can't see the shared budget

Both of you need iCloud turned on, and they need to open the invitation on a device signed in with the Apple Account you invited (the email or phone number you used). Ask them to open the link again from Messages or Mail, with the app installed.

Can I import expenses from my bank?

Yes. Export the statement as CSV from your bank, then open Settings › Import from CSV. The app recognizes the columns or lets you match them, and you can undo an import for 7 days.

How do I export my expenses?

Open the … menu, then Settings › Export expenses to CSV. You can pick a day, week, month, year or a custom range, and open the file in Numbers or Excel.

How do I delete all my data?

In Settings › Data, “Reset the app” deletes everything on the device and, with iCloud on, on your other devices too.

Assistenza

Leggo tutti i messaggi.

Come cancello tutti i miei dati?
